Event Insurance

The organizers provide event insurance, but compensation is limited to accidents caused by the organizers' negligence in accordance with the insurance regulations. Insurance does not cover accidents caused by personal negligence. General health issues and illnesses are also not covered. Therefore, if you wish to be covered for personal accidents, please purchase your own individual insurance.

Since the insurance only applies to accidents caused by the organizers' negligence, we recommend that you purchase individual insurance to cover personal accidents. The organizers will not compensate for personal accidents outside the scope of the event insurance.

Although the organizers purchase event insurance, we do not take responsibility for anything outside the insurance terms and conditions, so participants must take personal care to prevent accidents.

Illnesses are caused by internal bodily factors. During a marathon event, conditions such as myocardial infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, shortness of breath, sudden death, vomiting, and muscle pain can occur frequently, and these are considered illness-related incidents. (Insurance does not cover illness-related incidents.)
